Unreal Engine 5 Puzzle Platforms Demo
A downloadable game for Windows
My attempt at following along with the "Puzzle Platforms" project from the GameDev.tv "Unreal Multiplayer Master: Video Game Dev In C++" course by Ben Triston and Sam Pattuzzi.
This game consists of a two-person puzzle level where the goal is for both players to reach the final platform by using pressure plates to move platforms. This game requires either a LAN or Hamachi connection to play.
Controls:
- Move: Arrow Keys, WSAD or Left Analogue Stick on a Gamepad controller.
- Camera: Mouse, or Right Analogue Stick on a Gamepad controller.
- Jump: Right Ctrl, Spacebar or "A" button on a Gamepad controller.
- In-Game Menu: Escape or "M" button, or "Start" button on a Gamepad controller (menu buttons still need to be clicked).
Connection Instructions:
Once you've set up a connection between your two machines either over a local LAN network or via Hamachi, launch the game and you'll be taken to the main menu, from here click the "Host" button to host a server.
To join a server, click the "Join" button on the main menu and enter the IP address of the machine you want to connect to in the text field (if using Hamachi, use the IP address of the Hamachi network). Then click the "Join" button to join the server.
